2. Users and terms of use

Access to and/or use of this portal grants the status of USER, who accepts, from such access and/or use, the General Terms of Use set out herein. The Website provides access to informational content about pet care and free tools (aquarium liters calculator, fish compatibility checker, pet name generator, pet names by color, terrarium & birdcage size calculator, human age calculator, daily food portion calculator, daily water intake calculator, breed compatibility test, and new pet checklist) belonging to SimplifyGo. The USER assumes responsibility for the use of the portal and its integrated tools.

3. Use of the tools: no sign-up and no data storage

SimplifyGo’s tools do not require any kind of sign-up: there is no need to create an account, either by email or through third-party services, to use them. Their use is completely free and never requires entering banking or payment details, as the Website has no payment gateway.

Calculations and results are performed entirely in your own browser using JavaScript. The data you enter (weight, age, species or other information about your pet) is not sent to any server and is not stored anywhere, except for the specific case of the New Pet Checklist, whose progress is saved locally in your own browser so you can pick up where you left off. When you close or reload the page, the rest of the information entered disappears. SimplifyGo never has access to this data.

4. Informational nature: this is not veterinary advice

All SimplifyGo content, including articles and the results of the tools, is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute, under any circumstances, veterinary advice, diagnosis, or personalized treatment, nor does it replace the assessment of a qualified veterinary professional.

The tools apply general animal care formulas and criteria, without taking into account your pet’s specific health situation. Results are indicative estimates and may not match the particular needs of each animal. Any decision about your pet’s care is your sole responsibility; for any health concern, always consult a veterinarian.

5. Monetization and advertising

SimplifyGo is an informational project funded through the display of advertising.

The Website may host advertising content (such as Google AdSense). Advertisers are solely responsible for ensuring that material submitted for inclusion on the Website complies with applicable laws.

SimplifyGo owns all intellectual and industrial property rights to its website, as well as the elements contained within it (including, but not limited to: tool code, design, texts, logos). All rights reserved.

7. Disclaimer of warranties and liability

SimplifyGo is not liable, under any circumstances, for damages of any kind that may arise from, including but not limited to: errors or omissions in the content, unavailability of the portal, tool results that do not match your pet’s actual situation, or the transmission of viruses or malicious software, despite having adopted all necessary technological measures to prevent this.
